Default Virgin bit torrent policy

Does anyone know if Virgin Media have a specific policy regarding bit torrent downloading?

Where I live, the landlord has provided free wireless broadband but on the two times when I've done some bit torrenting I seem to have been blocked, for 3 weeks for the first time and then 3 days the second time.

I don't have direct contact with the landlord, and trying to talk to the property management agency about it is like speaking to a brick wall.

Since the first time 3 months ago, I have been using my own mobile broadband for the bit torrents but unfortunately I left the wireless connection on by mistake earlier today and so am half expecting to find myself blocked from tomorrow morning.

So do Virgin take action to block users who use bit torrents ?

So are you suggesting that they are lying to their customers? Perhaps you have some evidence to support that allegation.

It is old news DELLboy.

The question originally asked was "Does anyone know if Virgin Media have a specific policy regarding bit torrent downloading?".

Presumably that was regarding now and not in the future.
