3 Mobile Broadband & LINUX

I was thinking of buying a net book - the one I like uses the LINUX operating system. I cannot get an answer as to whether the 3 Mobile dongle, will work with LINUX. Can anyone advise? [img]/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

I use a 3 dongle, (HUAWEI E160G), and according to it's help section, it only supports win 2000, XP & Vista.

I use a Huawei payg dongle on Vodaphone.
They recon it wont work, the fact is it does on Ubuntu. What doesnt work is Vodaphones software, so I have two options

- Go on Vodaphones website and sign in to my account via Firefox and check the balance
(or)
- Stick the dongle in a "windoze" pc and let the software load and check my account

I have been pleased with its performance over the last 12 months for something that ""doesn't work on Linux""
