mattytun , it's a program such as AVG Anti-rookit for example , that detects and removes rookits.

What is a......Rootkit.

Think they are pretty rare at the moment but you certainly don't want to be infected by one. Can be extremely hard to detect and even using an anti-rootkit program doesn't really help the average user as the results are extremely difficult to decipher/understand.
If you were unfortunate enough to get one expert guidance would be required ie a hijackthis expert .


Of course , for a more expert view , the hijack guy's would be the best point of contact.
