Hi

I ran AGV anti-virus and it has told me that i have a trojan on my computer (due to my younger sister stupidly opening a mass-forwarded email). Its located itself within my temporary internet files with two copies, one that has embedded itself and another apparently in the archive. Can anyone help me of this trojan, or is it similar to the smitfraud one that doesnt actually do any damage to your computer? The full name of the trojan is Downloader.Istbar.Z.

I think I had this prob a while ago. If I remember rightly, AVG picks it up but does naff all about it. Get hold of a copy of Kaspersky Antivirus, that cleared it for me AND picked up 3 others I never knew I had.
