I came across these Via Michelin maps covering detailed road maps of the whole of Europe including the new EU member states. This site could be very useful for all European drivers, especially long distance lorry drivers heading abroad!
Zooming in and out is very easy and has a bar that goes from street level all the way to continent level - good for a clear perspective.
You can also plan routes from A to B and see mini maps for each part of the journey.
But the best feature of all is that the roads have house numbers on them to help you locate which end of the street you need to head for.
I would say this beats the competition which is:
Multimap
MSN Maps

Maybe Webuser could expand on this post and produce one of their excellent reviews of the mapping sites. I'd be interested to see if they agreed with my Gold Award for ViaMichelin Maps.
