Default Yahoo And Outlook Express

There where a few different posts last week about being able to download your yahoo email into OE.

I found out this is possible but you may get a bit more spam.

If you log into your yahoo account and then select mail options then select POP Access and Forwarding it opens up another window asking you to activate this.

You have to tick a box saying this ---

I want to use mail forwarding and POP access. Please contact me occasionally about special offers, promotions and Yahoo! features. To learn more about Yahoo!'s use of personal information, please read the Yahoo! Privacy Policy.

Then tick the box's that interest you and click finish at the bottom of the page I dont think you have to pay for this service but you will probably get a few spam meassages a day.

If you activate it and then find you dont like it you can always deactivate it later.

I hope this helps someone

Cheers

The tip at the top is great if you have a Yahoo.co.uk address and I've been using it for years very happily. I think the other program mentioned here is best if you have a Yahoo.com address, as Yahoo turned off free Pop access for those addresses.
