XP Windows Activation "Renewal" after Hardware driver repair
      #441449 - Wed Nov 04 2009 09:35 PM

I had an issue with my GeForce Graphic card driver yesterday as it was refusing to engage SLI mode on the Control page Kept reverting to 1 card mode and the Pages were sometime Jerky
At first I thought it was RAM related So I Defragged Cleared Files and ran CCleaner on both cleaners with no change
Next I ran System Restore back a week
Again No Joy
I Inspected ever thing I could think off Even the System Information
I alwaya have a n uptodate copy of the Graphic card Driver

So I Deleted that also the NVidia PhysX driver, the Screen reset to a very low resolution
Reinstalled Both and the Screen reset to to the original resolution
and a Message appeared warning me that Windows Needed reactivating in 3 day or else
I Surfed for a while to play catch up Then I got my Windows disk out Intending to Input the Serial mumber in
But I did not have to worry MS reactivated my account automatically when reset the Computer and Clicked on the Button on the Blue Activation Prompe Window
Disregard the Registration option. Means you have to enter Personal details
All that happened was the Desktop appeared with No Prompt message and no Acknowledgement from MS
I Dont think this would work if i the "Window Genuine Advantage" Program was in Place Otherwise it will prompt for my Serial Number or Lock me out?
