'3' mobile broadband dongle - security
      #435588 - Tue Jul 28 2009 03:46 PM

Hello - I would like to secure use of my new '3' dongle with a password or pin, in case it's lost or stolen. Is this possible? Should I worry that a thief would access illegal websites using my dongle and I get the blame? Thanks, kevj.

The SIM that comes with the dongle is, to all intents and purposes, the same as you would find in a mobile phone. It is therefore theoretically possible to use a PIN with the SIM. Does this help.
