Hi,
I am having problems with my webcam when using Skype (it is up to date) While I can hear my contact and they can hear me - they cannot see me. I can see them but they cannot see me. Could this be a problem with vista compatibility with the webcam. I thought I had installed the latest drivers for this but it has made no difference.
Can anyone advise please?

Have you ensured that your cam's not blocked by your firewall and is configured to work with skype?
The only reason i'm asking is i've got vista, skype and a creative live webcam and mine works fine

Hmmmmm. Not sure how to check these things. No warning from firewall suggesting blocking. How would I configure for Skype?
The webcam did work ok on my previous laptop with Windows Xp - thats why I wonder if there is a Vista incompatibility.

without knowing what firewall you using I can't help with that, but with skype to setup your webcam you do the following
login to skype, the goto tools, options, video settings then select your webcam on the list in the select webcam tab.

Hi Ray, Thanks very much. Sorted! It was not my webcam that was selected in the video settings options but a default webcam.
