I can't upload Firefox 3+ stuck on Firefox 2.0.0.20

Hi any help forthcoming, I am a newby to this forum and I need help to get my Firefox browser to update to FF3+
When I try to do it the software loads but it won't then open anyway

If I log on as a guest it works What can I do I keep getting warnings the FF 2.0.0.20 is no longer supported

Welcome to the forums canal.

Try downloading FF from -->> Click here <<-- and retry the installation.

Have done as requested but now FF3 will not open

It might be wise to start from scratch, ie totally uninstall Firefox.
Have a look at this link -->> Uninstalling Firefox <<-- Note the 'Removing user data and settings' section.

Then try the installation of Firefox 3 again.

Tried to fully uninstall including all folders passwords etc reload still nothing

Finally with a lot of juggling after reading message on Mozillazine but that was after a lot of trial unloading and loading

hi and welcome to the fourms

what you could do is use revo unstaller this will remove everything to do with firefox will be gone you can download at http://www.revouninstaller.com/

select advanced and remove everything you see and alos emtpy your recycle as some of the leftover files may go there and hopefully you can install 3.5
