Hi
I am using Vista and have had no problems with IE since I got this laptop in November. I downloaded Google Chrome to see what it was all about and all was fine for a day or so. Now I cannot open IE at all and have tried to download Firefox but thats not working either! I can still get onto web via google chrome and wondering if thats maybe the problem - I cant uninstall it though as if its not the problem I will have no way of getting on the internet if you see what I mean!
When I open IE I am getting "IE has stopped working - A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you when a solution is available". It is happening immediately after opening. I have tried things such as opening as administrator, disabling add-ons but still to no avail!
Does any one have any ideas? Google chrome is ok but it does not let me into things like ebay for some reason and I would ideally like to go back to using Firefox.

Just wanted to add that I have tried also to repair IE using the microsoft website but google chrome just tells me that it is an invalid web address and has a "null" value?!?!?!
