I have been looking with no success for anew laptop to replace my aging desktop which still works well, I have looked at various web sites like e.buyer, dabs .com etc etc with not much in the way of choice so over to you guys to help me find my new laptop
You sometimes find that, if you go to a small private computer shop and buy a new laptop from them, they will be quite happy to sell it to you with Windows XP installed rather than Vista.
Obviously the big shops, or online stores aren't at all interested. It will be Vista or not. The only exception I know of is in the notebook range. I bought my Asus Eee a couple of months ago with Windows XP. But is is so small it couldn't anywhere near do as a replacement for your PC.
Best of luck ! .
