Sorry for what might be a very simple question - Being a complete novice, I have just started using Sitebuilder to create a new website on Fasthosts.
I am following the instructions to upload pictures, but I am getting the dreaded red cross in little white box, even though the filename of the picture appears and is in the correct format.
What am I doing wrong?
TIA

I'm not familiar with "Sitebuilder" but in general the path to a picture must be relative rather than absolute and obviously the picture file must also be uploaded to the web server. What this means is that, when the page is uploaded, it must look for the picture in the local file structure on the web server and not in the original folder in your own PC's hard drive. In the picture's Properties, the path should only be to the folder the pic is in, provided that folder has also been uploaded to the host. If the pic isn't in a folder, just use the filename with no path, as it will be in the same location as the page's own files.
...if that makes any sense

Thanks Mike, everything is fine now, without me doing anything
I suspect it was something to do with the website having only just been set up when I tried to upload the pictures. Leaving it for 24 hours, it sorted itself out.
