I want to download bits of you tube videos and others web user mentioned a software to do this does any one know it or somethin better

Save2pc Light will do the job. Just copy/paste the URL of the video you would like to save in the box marked Link and it will save it to the default folder or a destination of your choice (listed in the top window).

Orbit Downloader puts an arrow symbol (= button) next to the video that you are currently playing in YouTube, and clicking on this button automatically starts downloading that video.

if you use firefox use the downloadhelper addon,the download button will be on the toolbar when installed.or use the free prog.from ashampoo called clipfinder,it also plays them for you once on your harddrive.

try the free ashampoo clipfinderyou dont even need the web open so it dont matter which browser you use,it searches all the main vid sites including youtube.save on your computer where you like and use the program to watch them.been using it about a year,got loads of music vids.davy
