Just a quick one that I use a lot but have never seen published. To re-define any F key to run a program. Simply go to run, programs, right click on the program you want to run, proprieties, make sure it is a shortcut (most of them are ) if not make one. Put the curser in the shortcut box and press the required F key. Apply O K Press the selected F key and the program opens Steve

Hi Steve....thanks for that very useful tip. How would you get back to the previous key setting if you wanted to? Also, you say "go to run,programs, right click on the program you want to run". The programs don't come up when I do that ? Have a good day Duane

Its Start > Programs you want to go to..
To remove a shortcut key, press delete..

Left click on START Left click on ALL PROGRAMS Right click on the program you want to short cut
To return is as Paul says Hope this helps if not come back
