Hi,
I am thinking of getting a new PC and have seen in my local Staples the following
Cybercom 3000+ Desktop PC with 15" TFT
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Processor 160GB Hard Drive 512MB DDR-RAM Memory Nvidia Geforce FX5200 128MB graphics 8x Multiformat DVD-rewriter MS Windows XP Home MS Works 7.0 Nero Burning Software Built-in Card Readers
Is this a good system, I know the Athlon 64 is a new chip so is it worth waiting around before buying?
One of the reasons I am looking to replacing my system is that I love playing the FPS (Doom, Half-life etc) and cannot play Doom 3 on my system for various reasons (I have had to put it on my partners system instead).
Any comments would be gratefully received.
Thanks in advance.
