I have a friend who for some unknown reason cannot download AVG, every time she tries the pc kinda just stops. Please dont ask me how or why because I haven't got a clue. What I thought I would do is copy the program from my computer onto a disc and load it that way, problem is, I haven't got a clue how to do that either!
So, could someone please take a couple of mins to explain to me, in english please, how to copy AVG from my computer onto a disc. I've tried this morning and failed, surely it can't be that difficult but it's beyond me!
Thanks in anticipation, Daren the clueless

All you need to do is find the program you downloaded from AVG (will be called something like AVGinstall.exe or similar) and copy this single file on to a disk. When your friend then runs the program and installs AVG to her machine make sure she checks for updates and the program will then be brought upto date
If you cannot find the program you downloaded use the windows search option and type in AVG and amongst the handfull of files brought up will be the installer file ending in .exe
XP Pro Office Pro FrontPage, IE6 AVG, Zone Alarm

The installer file will be called something like avg6542fu_free.exe but that won't neccessarily work on someone elses PC. Your friend will need to follow the install instructions here in order to receive a valid installation code.

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really? Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.

Alternatively, they can use your registration code. it'll still work.
