i'm running windows me....i downloaded the ie6 installation file to my desktop.....when i tried to install it, it stalled at 64%.....i tried again and it stalled at 64%......i've given up for now....anybody got any ideas?

It might be worth trying to get hold of a copy of IE6 on CD. A lot of the free CD's on magazines used to include a copy. I know the Microsoft site will only allow download using the small installer package and then connecting to the web to get the rest but this is IE6sp1. That means that if you haven't already got IE6 it will need to download the complete kit of parts. If you can get IE6 installed first then get the Service Pack from the MS site it might work better because you won't need everything. I have the CD and the complete IE6 is 70mb.
