My girlfriend likes to paint and has asked me to find somewhere on the interwebby to find cheap acrylic paint so I thought you'd be the ideal person to ask. Any advice gratefully recieved. Cheers Jonny.
For the cheapest way of getting them I would suggest eBay.
It all depends on what quality she wants. You can get very cheap acrylics, but then the quality is usually pretty pants.
Ken Bromley Art Supplies stocks Winsor & Newton Galleria Acrylics and Liquitex. Their prices are pretty good and delivery and customer service are very good indeed. There are a couple of other places, but I'll have to look them up and post back.
If she just wants some very cheap acrylics I would suggest looking around where you live and see if there is a shop called The Works. These stock some very cheap acrylics and although the quality isn't anything to write home about, you can still produce good looking paintings.
She will need lots of white acrylics because it will be mixed with virtually every colour. When painting with acrylics you go through loads of white.
