On another thread on here I read that somebody places transparent images over the images on their site, so that when somebody right clicks and saves the image, they actually save the transparent image, i.e. 'nothing'.
How do you place a transparent 'image' over images on your site?
I know it won't stop the determined or screen grabbing, but I'd still like to know how it's done.
Cheers for your help!

Why not get a script that disables the right click on the mouse when you right click on Images, that way nobody can steal your pictures (well they can, but nobody seems to take the hard way, lazy leechers)

If it's on the web, it's there to be taken, not much you can do to stop this. If you are using images that are your own work, like photography, then a good option would be to watermark them using proper software. This merges the mark into the pixels of the image so it cannot be removed (unlike graphic editing software which only places a layer on top). That may not stop the thief, but it will mark it as your property for proof of copyright violation.

Actualy people......... if anyone wants anything from a site with or without right click scripts etc, all anyone has to do is say use ir-view or anything simular for that matter then use Thumbnails then Windows/Temporary folder then ie contents and alls there to be viewed and saved.
