Advice\suggestions please
      #832 - Tue Jun 10 2003 08:47 PM

hello everyone, I have finally become fairly satisfied with my site and even though its updated all the time, I think its beginning to become useful to people in many ways. Now, I am wondering if users here would kindly be able to rate my site and hopefully be able to give me advice and suggestions on how I could improve it please.

My site is: www.TRshady.tk

Thanks you very much in advance.

Hi TRShady, i know you from k-lite. Good site and great jokes but some of your links are blue on blue and therefore a bit hard to see,

Thanks for the reply mate, I thought I recognised you. After recieving simlar comments and even more on frames I decided to design a whole layout and I've spent all day but it's finally done. Is this better?

Much better TR, a lot easier on the eye and the jokes are great.

Your Links need some work - the 'Home' buttons on most pages take me to a page in geocities - your former host perhaps? The link also opens a new browser, so must be using the target="_blank" attribute. I'd have thought you'd just stay in the same browser to get back to the Home page in most cases.
The real home page looks good for its graphics, but the text is dull and flat if left in just one size throught - maybe you should experiment with Headline tags, or use a Stylesheet to give some variants.
The music was quite good on the home page - but be aware of making those on slow connections fed up with waiting - they say people won't wait more than about 25 seconds before they give up and go elsewhere.

A hosted message board would be good.

Had a look at your site and I also think its very good.

One thing though and that is the width, have you set it in pixels or in percentage. The reason I ask is I couldn't see all the text on my screen. If its in pixels try changing to percentage and that should make it visible on all screen sizes.
Questions are always simple when you know the answers.
