my anxiety web site
      #8288 - Sat Aug 30 2003 02:28 AM

Hi Everyone,
I have just finished updating my anxiety web site, I have had panic attacks and agoraphobia since 1981 that is 22 yrs of my life that I have had the problem.
The first ever web site i built was a personal one all about my agoraphobia, but over a yr ago I decided to build a web site for everyone to contribute to,
I make no money from the web site, I have set up a small business to build web sites just to give me something to do to stop the boredom. Please take a look at the anxiety web site and let me know what you think? A couple of links may not work due to that section not being added yet.
The address is www.anxious-times.co.uk

Take Care
Michael

Michael, a great site full of superb information. In fact I learnt quite a bit

I have a couple of suggestions the first of which is that the "What is Anxiety" page is given greater prominence, possibly on the contents page. It appears that you meant to as you put on the behavioural page "If you look back at the" I would never have found it, if I hadn't been to that page otherwise. The same goes for the Overall summary

The other thing is that if you use tables, you could put the animated gifs above your phrases on the Entrance page The gates should be a transparent gif
Of all the Things I've lost, I miss my mind the most

Thank you for the positive comments :) , yep there are a few wrinkles to iron out well more than a few lol. the gates gif is only available on a white background but i may find a different gif for that. And thank you for the idea of putting the gifs above the wording, I thought having the gifs and words on the same line emphasised them more, but if this doesnt work i am happy to change it. This is the reason i mentioned it on here because everyone gives their honest opinion :)
Thank you for pointing out the ""what is anxiety" bit i would have missed that part will sort that out.
This is my pet project I just want to try and educate people what Anxiety is like the problems etc it is a very misunderstood illness especially agoraphobia if i had a £1 for everyone who has said "but it is easy to go outside" lol.
Glad you learnt quite a bit from the site.

Take Care
Michael
