Absolute Positioning
      #8263 - Fri Aug 29 2003 11:06 PM

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how reliable the "Position Absolute" tool on Frontpage 2000 is.
I am crazy or does the image that you've applied this function to, tend to move around on different resolutions or monitor sizes etc.

Hi
Yes the positioning of the image is affected by size of sereen others see it in i have a web site which i use the positioning toll and checked my site on a friend s pc it looked awful i do not use it now.
with front page you can by useing frames get a picture to be in a postion of your choice anyway so the need for perfect positioning isnt really needed
i use front page all the time and find it really good especially checking everything off air before you upload.

Ditch Frontpage and go pure CSS, you can position anything anywhere !

Good luck.
