PHP MySql Help
      #8104 - Thu Aug 28 2003 09:27 PM

Hi, I'm an amateur web designer.

I have a problem, I use Macromedia Dreamweaver, and I want to be able to use PHP on my site.

When setting up the site on Dreamweaver I get asked the question "Do you want to work with server technology" I select yes and select PHP/MySql from the menu. I continue with the setup until I get to the end where it asks "What URL would you use to browse the root of your site?"

I have no idea what this is, could someone please help?

Hi Anonymous,

That would be the URL of your web site, i.e. http://www.webuser.co.uk

Hi again Anonymous,

If you want to preview the live data on the page in Dreamweaver, you should be able to do that by clicking on the Live Data View button on the Document Toolbar...

Good Luck ,
