Not really a reader's website - its an IPC media website

We just redesigned World Soccer Magazine's website, worldsoccer.com, in time for Euro 2004 - let me know what you think.

World Soccer, Euro 2004 News

We encourage Web User readers to post links to their not-for-profit websites here. Please post a link to the home page and a 30-50 word description of the site, explaining what it does, when you founded it and anything else you think is relevant.

Sorry Paul, couldn't resist.

I've bookmarked the site as both myself and my son will use it a lot over the next couple of weeks. Thanks for sharing.

Fine

worldsoccer.com was founded in 2000 but has recently (11th June 2004) had a massive redesign. This is what it looked like before

The site is currently focused on UEFA Euro 2004, and has player profiles, interviews with every Euro team's coach, news, fixtures, results, group tables and a report from the editor who's out in portugal (in a camper van!).

During the normal football season the site covers the leagues (with fixtures, results and tables) for Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Poland, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the USA. It will also cover competitions such as the World Cup, Champions League, UEFA Cup, African Nations and the Copa America.

And of course you can subscribe the magazine! The mag has similar content but in more depth and includes a stats section with all the league tables and players etc in detail. Handy for cheating at Championship Manager

That's done it, my lad will be glued.

It's a fine site and will be used extensively by the 555 household.

Thats a good round up of the site. I didn't realise it covered so much. Could only have a quick look earlier, the garden, painting and chores have kept me busy today.

We'll both be having a goo route around after the football tonight.

You say that During the normal football season the site covers the leagues (with fixtures, results and tables) for Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Poland, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the USA. I admit to not reading yet. but what about the welsh premier league and the irish leagues.

The magazine may well cover them (I don't know to be honest), but the website had to draw the line somewhere due to the costs involved I think.
