FindCheapPetrol - I need your help
      #74838 - Thu Jun 03 2004 09:28 PM

I have today launched http://www.findcheappetrol.com

I need you to register details of petrol stations selling the cheapest petrol near you.

I'm building a database myself but it will be much quicker with your help. You can claim a free bar of chocolate if you register some details.

Even if you don't want to register, I'd appreciate your feedback

haha I have to say it's cleverly done with regards to the free Dairy Milk which enticed me to get the cheapest price in my area.

You put the details in and then it farms you off to Sweet Collect via an Affiliate Future script of course which are giving away the Dairy Milk... you of course are not. So you get 25p for every person doing the hard work for you. As anyone who has registered with Sweet Collect knows your inbox and junk mail will balloon out of all proportion... all for a Dairy Milk... no thanks.

It's a clever way to make money but aapetrolbusters.com does it already for free and lists the best price nationwide already so your intentions are obvious ;)

Exactly what I would say. But you could still run the site, but it would be easier to let people type in their home town, phone number or postcode rather than browse through a long list.
