User profiles display information about the registered users.
Each user can edit their own profile by setting their own preferences.
The details shown on the User Profiles screen are as follows:
The user's email address.
The user's name.
The user's title.
The number of posts made by the user.
The user's home page address.
The user's occupation.
The user's hobbies.
The user's geographical location.
A short biography of the user.
The user's ICQ number.
When the user registered.
The user's picture.
Please Note: Not all of the information may be filled in. It depends entirely upon the user as to how much information they want to provide.
In addition, there are links to allow you to :
view all of the user's posts
send a private message to the user
add them to your address book
or return to the Forum

We removed the 'display email' from the options - the only email address field now is purely for admin purposes and will not be displayed anywhere on the site or used for any purpose other than the use of the forums (eg reply or PM notifications, or if you've forgotten your password etc)

As ourstanley says, User Options. You can put as little or much as you want in your user profile. You can also set various options there, such as whether you want a signature or avatar to appear in your posts. Just click on the Edit buttons under "Main Configuration" and get things how you want them. You can read, reply to and send private messages from there too.
