Hi Guys, sorry if this is not quite the right place to put this. A little while back I mentioed in reply to another post that OnSpeed seemed to work ok but it didn't like foriegn language site too much and it made Norton a bit uppity during set up. It seems that they have sorted out these minor hiccups and the thing is working (for me at least) in exactly the way I wanted it to do. This is just a Heads Up for anyone else who might not have bothered with it for the problems with foriegn language sites. Regards, Steve.
I wonder if you feel like giving us all an update on OnSpeed? Such things as how easy it was to set up, what do you do about graphic files, any problems you've had etc. I think your response, if any, would be best posted in the Broadband thread. I know it isn't strictly BB but they do advertise it as an alternative.
OnSpeed was very easy to set up. The only mild annoyance is that when the internet connection fails OnSpeed has to be restarted. There is a slider that allows the acceleration to be changed. I have mine set half way and have noticed no deterioration in image quality. It has speeded up the loading of webpages by at least 5 times. I love puta as much as I love this forum
