My ISP's website is down
      #66355 - Sun May 09 2004 06:59 PM

This seems odd but I suppose I should think myself lucky that I can still dial up and connect and do this. However, since they host our email, I can't access it either sending or receiving.

I am NOT impressed. They don't even staff the place @ weekends.

Sigh. Huh.

Well it's nice to know that 28 people have read my initial post though no-one thought it sexy (=interesting) enough to reply - tonight my ISPs website was inaccessible again so while online with Google up on the screen and my dial up trying trying to connect to them, on another phone line I called them up to get an answerphone message saying "our office hours are 9 a.m. till 7 pm. please leave a message blah di blah) so I left a rant, then when I'd put the phone down (=slammed), on the computer screen within a Minute,

The ISP came back on line.

So, is this a magic wand, a magic rant or what? Are they really there waiting to see how angry their customers get (giggling and twiddling buttons), or, was it just Co In Ci Dence?

Sigh.

you might have got an answer if you had said which ISP it was.

Like the man said, no ISP name but your first post
In reply to:

Our ISP is a Mac specialist one (who already host our domain and email service) so I'd be inclined to continue with them for Broadband connection, plus their deal appears to compare very favourably to BT (no minimum fixed contract and cheaper per month).

gave the impression that not many of us would have any contact with them anyway so we probably wouldn't be able to help a lot.
