with kazaa my friends keep telling me that kazaa is faster than kazaa lite and i was wondering if this was true. And secondly using fileshare the p2p service how do you connect through fileshare to other p2p networks like edonkey, kazaa and win mx

I disagree, as by the time your computer has finished downloading all the adverts, you could have downloaded two tracks!!
kazaalite uses the same network as Kazaa, it just doesn't have all the rubbish installed. To connect to edonkey you would need to download edonkey and winmx, download winmx

Do not use Kazaa unless you want a free bundle of spyware as well. If you insist on the Kazzaa network use the Lite version... then ignore the constant prompts to update which it gives you, or that will overwrite it with the regular Kazaa again.
Quite honestly, you'd be better avoiding their network completely, since many trojans and infected downloads target it, use a safer one like WinMX. As for the second part, I concur, these networks cannot be linked across domains, for each you need its own P2P software.

I agree with not using kazaa from sharman. Use K-lite and @safeTsurfa, you don't get constant prompts in kazaa lite and also get a load more features such as ip blocker, accelerator etc.
Make sure your using the latest version and you'll be fine :)
