There are one or two different ways to delete Temporary Internet files. An easy way is too, whilst in ie,go to the tool bar at the top of your screen, click on Tools|Internet Options|General|Temp Internet Files|Delete Files. It's not a bad idea to click on the cookies as well. If you have many files to delete,it will take a while for them all to go,so be patient. I personally have a short cut on my desk top to the Temp Inter folder and can go straight in to delete on a regular basis.I delete mine every two days or so.

There is an easier way to delete temp Internet files. Click on Tools Internet Options - Click Advanced then scroll down to Security and tick box beside Empty Temp Internet files folder when browser closed. Click OK. Temporary Internet Files will be deleted when you close your Browser.

Can't arque with that Swyft, but it's so final that way.I prefere to have the option of going back in history so to speak, and go into the Temp Internet File folder and have a look at what's in there should I want to. For instance,if I'm looking through web sites and after I've closed my browser wished I'd saved a particular image or piece of txt etc,I can return by way of the Temp Internet Files.

Depending on how many files there are it could take a few minutes. Normaly while they're deleting you'll get the timer symbol with your mouse pointer. Be patient, I know that sometimes it's as if it takes an age.

Another thing you could try is to press the windows key + E on the keyboard. Click on the C Drive and find the Temporary Internet folder. It could be in the Windows folder but depends on which Operating system you are using. Open the Temporary Internet Folder and now delete the files selectively or click on Edit|Select All and then delete.
