that's one thing i can help you with. inside the brackets [ ] type url then type or paste the web address. then inside the brackets after the web address type /url . hope that makes sense,i can't show it properly because it shows it like an ordinary link without the brackets. use the square brackets.
if i had known i would live this long, i would have taken better care of myself.

look Here ......just remember that if you copy and paste code from here....as the advice given says.. "All codes should be entered without spaces between the brackets".....when you copy...there is spaces between the brackets, maybe for clarity.

Here it is, Paddy. click here

The way to do it is to type [ url =http://channels.netscape.com/ns/browsers/default.jsp ]click here[ /url ], but without leaving spaces inside the square brackets. If I hadn't included the spaces in this example, all you'd see is the clickable link (above). Putting spaces in prevents the code from working so you can see what I'm doing.

Another way would be to type [ url ]http://channels.netscape.com/ns/browsers/default.jsp[ /url ] (again leaving the spaces out), which shows the URL itself as the clickable link, as in http://channels.netscape.com/ns/browsers/default.jsp.

Hope that helps. If not, it's all on the Forum Help board.

For anyone else who needs it, you'll find a lot of useful stuff here.

One of the first things I did on the new site was print that lot out so I can refer to it whenever I forget anything.
