cannot find server error

I am on BT openworld and after 10 minutes of logging on my computer freezes and then I get the Cannot find server page.This seems to happen every time I log on.Does anyone know if this is a PC or a ISP problem as ISP usually try to fob me off Thanks Scott.

The first thing to do here is run a full system scan with your fully updated Anti Virus software.

I used to be on BT Openworld Anytime, but have recently upgraded to BT Yahoo! Anytime. Are you due for an upgrade to BT Yahoo!? This may be something to do with your problem as BT are currently changing people over from Openworld to Yahoo!

when my modem / TCP/IP stack settings have been set wrong [ useualy to fast ] i get around 10mins of internet then it just 'stops' and finaly the line is dropped.

has your connection allways done this?

have you messed with your modem/ TCP/IP stack?
