I am wanting to find a site with FREE software to send text messages from my pc to mobile phones (Vodaphone network, nokia phones). I have found some sites but they want to charge via credit card. I haven't got a problem with paying for the messages, but only onto my mobile phone bill.
Not sure about sites where this is available, although I'm sure they exist. However, I do know that ICQ has an SMS facility - though I've never used it myself.
Maybe worth taking a look tho. TFC Nothing is a problem for me...
Yes, I too like cbfsms.com as you don't even have to register to use it and it is totally free. Also, there is no limit to the ammount of sms messages you can send unlike some other sites.
The only problem with it that I have found is that the site is sometimes down and it is a bit of a pop-up mine field (although if you have a pop-up stopper then it's ok)
Or another way would be to register with o2 (www.o2.co.uk) which then enables access to their free texts service - 30 free texts of up to 345 characters per month to any mobile.
I'm sure other mobile phone operations would offer similar services but haven't needed to check them out yet.
