If only there was something designed to convert VHS via a USB to laptop similar to this item which converts vinyl to laptop on offer at Aldi soon.

That's about a tenner cheaper than Maplins. Interesting what turns up in Lidl and Aldi.

Oh, is this what you were after?

VHS

If it works it could be the sort of thing you sell on rather easily to mates or via eBay. Once used it's a bit pointless unless you still use tape, I suppose.

Be tempting to buy one and set up a little business?

Thanks for that. My first thought was that it was too expensive, but I read through the blurb and then realised I wouldn't be able to transfer any of our "bought" films. So they are destined for the charity shop and any which my wife really wants, I'll pick up on DVD. Thanks anyway.

Never mind - I thought you might mean you had a collection of family vids like we do that haven't seen the light of day for a few years. Think we have an old VHS somewhere when we need to watch them.

Rethinking the 'business' idea. Can you IMAGINE the type of home videos people would send in to be converted?
