Last week I had a problem with my computer, Acer Aspire 5050 running Vista, taking ages to boot up totally. With the help from a member of this forum I solved that after tracing it to AVG. I have since changed to Kaspersky. A couple of days later CCleaner was upgraded to the latest edition and I thought everything was fine until yesterday when I tried to do a manual restore point. The searching for drive's window pops up but that's it. It doesn't find anything to restore.
I have had this laptop for a couple of years and usually do a routine restore point twice a week and never had this problem before
Has anyone else encountered this problem and if so could you tell me the cure.
