multimedia and raid driver problem
      #441389 - Tue Nov 03 2009 05:26 PM

Hi I put a previous post on the general board about my problem with trying to get my sound to work on my comp windows xp pro. It had sound until i reinstalled windows after a crash. but now when i try to update driver or reinstall drivers it wont do it it says driver not found for the raid driver and this device is not configured correctly forthe multimedia audio controller i try and reinstall and againno joy. I have tried driver detective to scan and find drivers but on there it says no driver found compatable for the raid driver. I have an old mainboard utilities disc but get no joy from that either my system just crashes once it downloads. I have no icon for my sound on the task bar and i have checked all connections and everything is plugged in. Has anyone any ideas of some free software that will fix this problem. I think my sound card is C-Media. Thank you Maria x
