hi, i have a netgear 802.11G router which is approx 3 years old, it is in the front room and the pc with wi fi dongle in the bedroom, yesterday the pc showed a no internet connection, the lights were all out on the router but it and the transformer were warm so i unplugged it from the back waited 10 seconds and replugged it and every thing was back to normal, the same thing happened today but this time the power light remained on, after doing the same as yesterday it once again works, is the router repairable and is 3 years about the life expectancy of a netgear unit, thanks in anticipation

Yep. BT and Virgin switching lines, to keep the system balanced.
