Hello everyone, I created a brand new user profile on my pc. I want to copy my original user profile to this one to just use this one and eventually delete the old one. I found steps on the web to do this through System, Advanced, Advanced... . My problem arises when I get to the "copy to" box. It is greyed out. I have 4 user accounts on my computer and this is the only one that is greyed out. (It is also my original profile). Yes I am logged on as an administrator. The account I want to copy is not an administrator account. It is not password protected either. Any ideas on how to accomplish this? Thanks, Alan

You cannot copy a user profile while you are logged on as that user.
Have a look at this link -->>The "Copy To" Button in the System Properties Dialog Box Is Unavailable<<--

Hi alant
Can you try rebooting your machine, log on as the new user, then reboot again and log on again as the new user. Now try the procedure again to copy.
