Hi, Over the last few days I have been having lots of unwanted pop ups occurring on the tool bar which come onto the screen when trying to close them. I have downloaded the free ad adware and also spybot which does detect the adware and supposedly eliminates them. However they and others still keep coming back. Can I stop them coming in in the first place so as to save searching for them and eliminating. I use firefox and google and have set up the control options on both of those but it does not seem to help. Surely it is possible to stop them coming in as this did not used to happen? Grateful for any help with this annoying problem Thanks
it sounds like you adware that spybot and ad aware can't remove.
Please go to the HIJACK THIS LOGS forum, read the post at the top from THE FAT CONTROLLER which explains how to post a HIJACK THIS LOG. and post your log in that forum along with a brief description of what problems you are having.
