During the installation of AVG 9 I am being asked to uninstall zone alarm. Has anyone come across this or can I safely 'skip' that part.

Our club guru's advice on this problem from a fellow member:
Download AVG9 - disconnect from Internet - disable Zone Alarm - install AVG9. Reboot computer and restore Zone Alarm. No conflict was experienced.
I did read on another forum where someone had skipped the advice to remove Zone Alarm and ended up with serious problems which were only solved by restoring an Acronis backup.
