Standby/Hibernate

I use XP and my PC shows 'Standby' when tuning the PC off.I want to alter it to'Hibernate'.
How can I do this,please?

Try pressing the Shift key when you press the Standby button. it should change to Hibernate.

My PC had 4 buttons, including standby and hibernate. When I reinstalled XP it came out with 3 and hibernate was missing. I got it back by going to Control panel/Power options/Hibernate/Enable hibernate.Hope it works for you. Of course the method described above is also a solution.
