I upgraded to IE8 as Windows updates kept pestering me, just as a matter of interest. Found it slow, so decided to get rid. Uninstalling was not an option, so had to roll back to a previous restore point.
Well got IE7 back but I have been left with a transparent tool bar, where I can see my desktop in the background. The only way to remove it is to hit the button to the left of the X at the top right of screen. This reverts to a solid tool bar until I move to another page then yep!...transparent again. How can I stop this once and for all?
