Hi,
I have been trying to do some internet shopping but when I come to the screens to input my credit card details, there is no 'padlock' icon. I have been on Tesco Direct and Play.com. I must assume it is a problem at my end as I would doubt these organisations have a problem. Does anyone know what the issue is?
I am using IE7 and run Norton Internet Security 2009. I use Virginmedia broadband with an ethernet connection.

Out of interest, I proceeded to checkout on Play.com (using IE7), and as sson as I hit "checkout", the padlock comes up, bottom right of scren (not even logged in) on the following url (yours got the "s" after http:// ?) https://www.play.com/integratedlogin.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fOrder.aspx
Same test for Tesco, url reads (and displays padlock) https://secure.tesco.com/register/?from=https%3a%2f%2fdirect.tesco.com%2fcheckout%2f
