Where it used to say Google in the top right hand box, it now says eBay. When I want to find something it now just sends me to the e-bay site. How can I change this please.

To get Google back open Internet explorer in the Control Panel while Also Opening Google online
All you do is Look on the Homepage "box" Is Google .com showing as default?
if its Ebay you can erase it
Next click the "Use current" button beneath the box ,then click on the Apply and OK buttons (at the bottom) to save and exit
As regard search Providers the small button to the Right of the small search box. will lead you to the setting controls But, IE7.0 and IE8.0 have different layouts
IE8.0 is the easier to work out as regards setting up the default search-engine and new search engines

You don't say which browser your query relates to and you've already got a reply about IE so I'll give you some info about Firefox in case you use that.
If you click the tiny little 'down' arrow by the eBay logo, you should get a list of the search engines installed in Firefox. Click on Google or any other one you wish to use and its logo will appear by the search box. You can then carry out the search with your preferred engine.
