youtube & using less bandwidth?
      #439571 - Sun Oct 04 2009 08:54 PM

hi

i use orange mobile internet dongle which gives me a certain amount i can use each month. if i go over this amount then i'll end up paying more, which obviously i dont want to do.

youtube takes up a considerable amount of my useage so ive been steering clear of the site. but now im sick of not being able to watch what i want when i want.

is there a way to access the site and/or load the videos in a lower quality or something so that i can view without using up as much bandwidth? a while back i used a proxy site to access youtube and it loaded the videos in its own little video player thing (if that makes sense? :S)...anyway, i heard this site could now be involved in hosting/distrubuting malicious software so i dont want to go back there.

anyway my question is: does anyone have any ideas help or advice in what i can do to use youtube and view the videos without using as much of my bandwidth? thx in advance to any repliers.
