Vista clipboard full - how to empty?
      #439522 - Sat Oct 03 2009 03:49 PM

Hi,
I am using Print Screen, and get message saying 'item not collected - delete items'.

There is no obvious way of doing this? Can anyone help please.

Thanks

Unlike XP, the clipboard cannot be viewed in Windows Vista. You need a copy of clipbrd.exe from an XP computer. It is located in C:\WINDOWS\system32. Copy it into the same folder in Vista and to run it, click the Windows Orb (Start), type clipbrd and press Enter.

A better alternative to Print Screen is the Snipping Tool that is included in Vista and Windows 7.
