I have been having a problem with the Jing Pro Software, but only because one of the main features is that you can swap between the screen capture and your web cam when you do a video.
Well the support told me that my PC isn't great for Jing, not that they tell you that much when you purchase! Any way, the guy said my drivers were out of date. I downloaded a 'free' piece of software and it's identified the drivers which it says is out of date.
Quote:
Display adapters - NVIDIA GeForce 7650 GS
Imaging device - Web Camera (Updated - Didn't get a mesage to say that I had a newer previous version etc, etc )
Network adapters - RT73 USB Wireless LAN Card - Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast
Ethernet NIC - VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adapter
Printer - Epson Stylus Photo R200 Series
Sound, video and game controllers - Medion SAA7131, Triple Capture
Device - Realtek High Definition Audio - USB Audio Device - USB Audio Device
System Devices - VIA I/O APIC Interupt Controller - VIA PCI to PCI Bridge Controller - VIA PCI to PCI Bridge Controller - VIA Security Device - VIA Standard Host Bridge - VIA Standard Host Bridge - VIA Standard Host Bridge - VIA Standard Host Bridge - VIA Standard Host Bridge - VIA Standard Host Bridge - VIA Standard PCI to ISA Bridge - VIA Standard PCI to PCI Bridge - VIA Standard PCI to PCIE Bridge - VIA Standard PCIE to Root Port - VIA Standard PCIE to Root Port - VIA Standard Ultra VLINK Controller
Universal Serial Bus Controllers - USB Composite Device
Disconnected Devices - ANYCOM Blue USB-200/250 (Tried to get this to work but couldn't install) - Ambit Usb Cable Modem - LOCOSTO - Mio DigiWalkler USB Sync - Nokia S60 USB Phone Parent - PC Camera (6005 CIF) #2 - Plug and Play Monitor - Plug and Play Monitor - USB DIGITAL STILL CAMERA - USB Mass Storage Device
How can I update the necessary drivers for my PC? Is it physically impossible? Some are redundant anyway I think, like the Nokia. My brother synced his phone to the PC for pictures and downloaded some software to do that. I think I've since deleted it.
Would appreciate the help. To be honest, I don't want to have to pay for something like this as I think people are taking advantage of people who can't find the answers like coming here on Webuser.
Thanks in advance - Much appreciated.

I use DRIVERMAX It scans your computer to see what drivers are installed and tells you what new drivers are available. the free version only allows you to download and install 2 new drivers per day, but works brilliantly.
