The website has just been updated approx 3.30pm and Microsoft Security Essentials is now available to download.

Hi OS,
On the download page it says that you should uninstall any other AV or anti spyware to avoid conflicts, is this true?
Do you know of any problems and which AS does this include, e.g. MBAM, SWblaster etc

No not necessary if you plan to use it as a standalone program but turn off it's real time protection which may cause conflicts with other security applications. I wouldn't use it as my main form of virus/spyware defence.
