Laptop Cd Drive (XP)

Hi all ,
I am unable to find my Cd:/ drive on my lap top its not located in My Computer and not reading any CDs I enter. this has happened after a Microsoft update as I have not installed any thing else should I do a System Restore? or any help will be appreciated

Have a look at the fix on Kellys-Korner - Line 399, Right column.
